This article is the fifth and final in a series of natural therapies Health and Cancer. The material is to inform you of complementary therapies that cancer are available from the medical community. These treatments will be used in conjunction with other methods of cancer treatment. It is not intended to replace the attention by your doctor.
To date, we discussed the basics of Cancer, looked at a list of causes, review the different types and stages of cancer, and examined the use of nutrition and herbal supplements such as forms of cancer therapy. We also talked about various therapies and physical support its benefits for people with cancer. In this article we will investigate the use of supportive therapies for cancer of Energy. These include electrodermal diagnostics, magnetic therapy and light therapy.
"Energy Medicine" refers to therapies or evidence that the use of a field of energy such as electricity, magnetic, Sonic, microwave, infrared or acoustic energy. We've all been exposed to energy medicine before. Electrocardiograms for the activity of the heart, for testing muscle EMG in the EEG for brain waves and MRI for scanning body parts are all examples of techniques of energy medicine.
The basic principle of energy medicine is a disease that shows a change of energy before it is a real disease. The energy flow is based on acupuncture meridians known for thousands of years. These meridians are pathways for energy flow. The concept of energy flow in the meridians is similar to blood flow in arteries and veins of our circulatory system. Studies in Germany and Stanford University verified that there is no conduction electricity through the acupuncture meridians, the energy changes in traditional acupuncture points, and that the energy changes that health is poor.
Electrodermal testing the surface of the skin to determine if there are any imbalances in the flow of energy is called electrodermal research. This is done by touching a small probe into certain points on the hands and feet, which generates information on a computer. A point value on a scale of 0-100 is assigned to the various readings. Scores in the range of 45-55 are considered normal. Readings below 45 indicate a degeneration of organs, while scores above 55 indicate inflammation of the organ. After the screening electrodermal, therapies are given according to the scores shown on each of the different test sites.
The We are exposed to magnetic therapy magnetic energy every day. Some naturally produced by our body, solar flares, by changes in climate, and the earth itself. Common electrical appliances such as radios, televisions, computers, microwave ovens, electric wheelchairs and commercial power lines also produce magnetic fields.
Magnetic therapy focuses on the use of external magnets and electromagnetic devices for the relief of symptoms and reversing degenerative diseases. The negative poles of magnets have proven health benefits, while the positive poles have a harmful effect. It has found that cancer develops in a high-acid, oxygen-poor environment. Negative magnetic fields make the cells more alkaline and increase the oxygen level. The technique is called Magnetic Resonance Bio-Oxidative Therapy and still is considered experimental, although there are reports of successful treatments cancers of the prostate, brain, spine, skin and mouth.
Light Therapy from exposure to sunlight plays an important role in maintaining good health. They not only help the body produce vitamin D, sunlight also sends impulses to the brain's regulatory system. The brain generates signals to all control sleep cycles and body temperature, digestion and immune function. Because the body's need for light, poor lighting or exposure minimum the sun can cause health problems. Studies have linked to fatigue, poor lighting, hostility, suppressed immune function, depression, loss hair, skin damage, strokes and cancer.
'Full-spectrum light therapy "has proven its ability to help improving overall health. Similar to exposure to sunlight, this therapy uses the full range of ultraviolet light included. A study by Johns Hopkins University School of medicine of a positive relationship between full-spectrum light and the prevention of breast cancer, colon and rectal cancer.
'Ultraviolet Light Therapy primarily used topically for skin lesions and through a process called heme-irradiation for other cancers. Hemo-irradiation involves removing about one pint of blood, exposing it to ultraviolet light, and return to the patient's bloodstream. This technique has been reported to increase oxygen levels, neutralize toxins the body, and the balance of biochemicals in the body.
"Photodynamic Therapy or PDT is very promising in the treatment of some cancers early stage. This therapy involves injecting dyes or medicines that are sensitive to light. These agents are absorbed by cancer tumors which are then exposed to certain types of light. This technique has a success rate of 90% in Japan for early stage lung cancer, stomach, esophagus, and cervix.
